Dr. Douglas McLaws joined Family & Specialty
Medical Center in January of 2007. Dr. McLaws received his Bachelor of Science from Southern Utah University in May
of 1992. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1998 from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health
Sciences in Des Moines, IA. He is a Licensed Physician in the state of Iowa since 1999.
Dr. McLaws began
practice in Manning, Iowa in 2001. He and his family of 5 children have lived in Carroll County since 2001. From
2005-2007 he served as the medical director for the Rejuvenation Center in Omaha, a physical medicine facility, where doctors
and physical therapists work together.
Dr. McLaws now serves as a family practitioner and medical director at Family
& Specialty Medical Center. His focus is on Pediatrics, Adolescents, Family Care, Adult Medicine, and Geriatric
services. He also has full hospital admitting privileges at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll.
